How To Participate

Bird fairs, festivals and other birding events (subject to the Council’s constitution) have the right to become General Members of the Council. This request is made on the membership form on-line. The Executive Committee will review each request to determine eligibility. Membership starts on the date that the request is approved by the Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee can also invite those who have made substantial contributions to bird fairs around the world to become Honorary Associate Members.

Corporate Associate Members should be linked to birding tourism, such as businesses (optics companies, tour companies etc) as well as non-profit organisations that the Executive Committee invites to participate. These may include bird tourism organisations and agents in the sector.

Members are responsible for informing the Executive Committee of any change in their contact details or changes in the state of the event that they represent.
