The South American BirdFair is the most important of its kind on the continent, and it takes place every year in a different country. The Fair is a meeting with many dimensions that includes birding (in different ecosystems depending on the host country) , workshops and workshops with specialists from all over the world, stands (with optics, equipment, books and guides, NGOs, art, etc.), talks, forums and symposia, and many exchange and growth activities in this activity that grows throughout the continent.

Peru is a country known throughout the world for its millenary cultural legacy and its natural wealth is rarely discussed. This country has been marked by the Andes Mountains and thanks to it with a great abundance of ecosystems that vary from a cold and generous sea, desert coasts, mountains that exceed 6,000 meters in height, cloud forest throughout its territory and the second country with the largest extension of Amazon rainforest. All these conditions generate a very high biological diversity and a total of 1,880 species of birds.
