The 16th Extremadura Birdwatching Fair (FIO) will take place from 26^th to 28^th February 2021. This year it is a special, digital version.

All the programme, both for professionals as well as for the general public, will be accessible on a virtual platform.

This year, the health restrictions in place because of the pandemic make public gatherings impossible, so there will not be activities on the ground in Monfragüe National Park, where the event traditionally takes place.

Despite these challenges, the FIO, which is the national leader of such events, will maintain the objectives that has made it the most important in the sector in Spain: to be the meeting place for the sector and to promote nature tourism and birding, for which Extremadura is a top global destination.
