The 17th edition of the Extremadura BirdFair (FIO) will be held from February 18th to 20th, 2022.

FIO is the original bird fair in Spain and has developed to be the most important festival in the Iberian Peninsula. Over the years, FIO has successfully maintained its main objectives: to be a meeting point for professionals and amateurs alike to promote nature tourism and bird watching both nationally and internationally.

The official programme will include:

FIO B2B Professional Meetings (on request and under subscription)
PHOTOFIO, conferences with leading national and international wildlife photographers.
Wildlife Art and Nature dedicated to the different artistic manifestations related to the environment and birds.
FIO Conferences and conversations with national and international specialists in areas such as tourism and nature conservation.
Awards ceremony for the Bird Photography Contest “Las Aves Silvestres/Wild Birds”.
